“As the hotel name, it's Panoramic. Everything here is nice and quiet, staff were super friendly and food were nice too. Location is not far away from famous dololmit, Tri Cime and other smaller town that I can explore within cycling or driving distance. Good place to stay and get away from fast paced city.”

“I stayed at Hotel Panoramic in June 2026 and had a wonderful experience. Below, I’ve broken down all the reasons why I rated it as excellent. Location: The hotel is located close to the beautiful Lago di Santa Caterina in Auronzo di Cadore. It is about 28 minutes from Lake Misurina and Tre Cime di Lavaredo by car. Just a few meters from the hotel, near the lake (at the end of Via Padova, next to a tree and the children's playground), there is a bicycle rental station operated through the Weelo app. Price: Without a doubt, this hotel offered the best prices among all the accommodations in the area, especially when compared to places in Dobbiaco/San Candido, Ortisei, and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Staff: Every staff member I interacted with was extremely helpful and friendly, even though I was not able to communicate entirely in Italian. Dining: Although the area is quiet, you can find several restaurants within a 5-minute walk along the main avenue (Via Piave). The hotel itself also offers dinner service (and lunch during the summer season). Just check the menu with the reception desk in advance and make a reservation. If you choose to dine elsewhere, I recommend arriving at least 1.5 hours before the restaurant's closing time. Restaurants in the region (including those in Cortina) often stop serving pasta and meat dishes about an hour before closing and only continue serving pizzas. Accessibility: The hotel does not have elevators, which may be challenging for guests carrying very large luggage or those with mobility issues. However, if I remember correctly, there are only three floors of guest rooms. Breakfast: Breakfast is selected from a pre-order menu provided at check-in, where you choose the items and quantities you would like. The following morning, the staff brings your selections directly to your table. At first, I found this system a bit unusual, but I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the food. The chocolate brioche was incredibly soft, the strudel was served warm, and the scrambled eggs were freshly prepared—much better than food left sitting on a buffet. In addition, guests have unlimited access to the buffet including cereals, yogurt, fruit jams, cream cheeses, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and juices. It was the most generous and freshest breakfast I have ever had in Italy. Rooms: The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are equipped with a TV, wardrobe, hairdryer, bedside power outlets, plenty of space for luggage, two chairs, and a lounge chair on rooms with balconies. Unfortunately, there is no minibar, which was probably the only amenity I missed. The hotel does not have air conditioning, but temperatures become quite cool at night, even with the windows closed (I visited during the second half of June 2026). If you tend to feel warm, it is perfectly safe to leave the window or balcony door open in this area.”
